Professional Experience

1998 to Present -- Independent Consultant

Assisting various clients in the healthcare, financial, and e-commerce industries with technology planning and implementation.

1997 -- President/CEO, NetValue Corporation

The first dial-up Internet Service Provider in the U.S. to utilize a "pure" Win NT environment.   Built this entity from scratch to fully operational in two months, including preparation of Private Offering Memorandum, and financing through the sale of 400,000 shares of common stock.  Over a seven-month period, grew from zero to 1,400 users.  Sold company in November 1997.

1989 to 1996 -- President, Crockett & Associates, Inc.

A consulting firm providing advice, design, implementation, and maintenance services for mission critical information systems and applications. Core company expertise: MS SQL Server, with MS Visual Basic and/or C++ as preferred development tools for presentation and business rules layers.  Services were provided based on the concept of "Delivered Solutions" and priced on a fixed-fee basis.  Directed multi-level staff hierarchy, which included administrative, sales, customer service, programming, design, user support, project management, and documentation positions.

1980 to 1989 -- PCS, Inc

A corporation providing claim processing services to the group health insurance industry.  Held various managerial positions in the Information Systems Division.  The experience gained here emphasized user support, application development, project management, and voice/data communications.  Left to start Crockett & Associates.
